Registrations Closing Soon for the Mediterranean Coast and Macro-Regional Strategies Week 2025
We are pleased to invite you to the 10th Anniversary edition of the Mediterranean Coast and Macro-Regional Strategies Week, taking place from 15 to 17 September 2025 in the picturesque coastal town of Izola, Slovenia. Please note that registrations are closing soon, as we are quickly approaching full capacity.
This milestone event celebrates a decade since the first Mediterranean Coast Day and brings together representatives from all four EU macro-regional strategies, along with key stakeholders and partners. Over the years, it has grown into a dynamic platform for promoting cooperation, sharing innovative ideas, and supporting sustainable development across the Mediterranean region.
The 2025 edition will focus on important topics such as reflections on the post-2027 EU Cohesion Policy and advancing climate resilience. The programme includes interactive sessions, vibrant exchanges, and meaningful collaboration among policymakers, experts, civil society, and citizens at local, regional, national, and international levels.
Held in the lead-up to Mediterranean Coast Day (25 September), the event also honors Slovenia’s leadership as the first Mediterranean country to ratify the Protocol on Integrated Coastal Zone Management (ICZM) in 2009.
We encourage you to register as soon as possible to secure your place at this landmark event.
