11th Forum of the EU Strategy for the Adriatic and Ionian Region (EUSAIR): ACCELERATING EUSAIR: FROM COMMITMENT TO IMPACT
The 11th Annual Forum of the EU Strategy for the Adriatic and Ionian Region (EUSAIR) was held under the Presidency of North Macedonia on 19–20 May 2026 in Skopje, with side events and a ministerial dinner taking place on 18 May 2026.
As a key annual event in the EUSAIR governance framework, the Forum brought together representatives of public authorities, European institutions, regional and local partners, civil society organisations, youth organisations, academia and experts from the ten participating countries. It provided an important platform for dialogue, exchange of experiences and strengthening cooperation across the Adriatic and Ionian region.
The 2026 edition of the Forum was held under the theme “Accelerating EUSAIR: From Commitment to Impact” and focused on advancing the implementation of the revised EUSAIR Action Plan, strengthening cooperation in the context of EU enlargement, promoting meaningful youth engagement, addressing demographic challenges, and enhancing cross-border cooperation and regional integration.
