SAVE THE DATE- Workshop “Is the Future of Port Systems Still Green? – Balancing Decarbonisation, Competitiveness and Skills in the Adriatic-Ionian Macroregion”:

Within the framework of the Pillar 2 (Transport and Energy) Workshop entitled “Green and Smart Ports: Shaping the Future of Green Transition and Skills Development in the Adriatic-Ionian Region”, to be held on 16 October 2025 in Trieste, a preparatory activity for the engagement of all stakeholders of the interested area is foreseen, which consists of the organisation of two online Workshops. The first is reserved to Port Authorities and Terminal Operators, while the second (foreseen in September 2025) is directed to Universities and Training institutions.

The first Workshop “Is the Future of Port Systems Still Green? – Balancing Decarbonisation, Competitiveness and Skills in the Adriatic-Ionian Macroregion” will be held online on 27 June 2025 and will involve the participation of Port Authorities and Terminal Operators of the EUSAIR area, in order to share and discuss experiences on the implementation of innovative sustainable technologies for the port sector. The aim of the Workshop is to focus on the related educational needs in order to contribute concretely to the European Pact for Skills within the transport sector.
