Cultural and Creative Regional Ecosystems (CCRE-S3) workshopOnline, organised in the framework of the 18th European Week of Regions and Cities | 14 October 2020
We are pleased to invite you to the “Cultural and Creative Regional Ecosystems (CCRE-S3)” online workshop, organised in the framework of the 18th European Week of Regions and Cities, on Wednesday 14 October (16:30-18:00 CEST).
CCRE-S3, a new thematic area within the Smart Specialisation Platform for Industrial Modernisation (S3P-Industry) of the European Commission, is the result of collaboration in the field of Cultural and Creative Industries between the Regions of Western Greece (EL), Aragon (ES) and Tuscany (IT); all active members of the Conference of Peripheral Maritime Regions (CPMR).
CCRE-S3 aims to stimulate new insights and opportunities related to cultural and creative experiences for local communities and residents by involving four groups of professions that use, apply and implement new technologies within the Cultural and Creative Industries (CCI) sector, which has the power to improve lives, transform communities and local/regional economies, and generate growth and skilled jobs.
To learn more on CCRE-S3 read the document, provided in link.
The workshop will use the example of the EU Strategy for the Adriatic and Ionian Region (EUSAIR) as an area with different territorial challenges and great potential for the CCI sector and as a way of bringing macro-regional strategies closer to smart specialisation strategies to make their partners think innovatively.
You may register online until 27 September.
To ensure the smooth organisation and running of this virtual session, please be so kind as to send to firstname.lastname@example.org and email@example.com by Monday 5 October any questions you may have regarding this new thematic area.
