EUSAIR monitoring & evaluation workshop – outcomes
On November 7th 2019, Athens hosted a workshop on Monitoring & Evaluation dedicated to the EUSAIR Strategy. The workshop was organized by the Greek Facility Point Partner. The 4 EUSAIR countries – Albania, Slovenia, Croatia and Greece – participated at the workshop with their national Facility Point partners. The meeting was attended as well by the Thematic experts and National coordinators.
The main role at the event was entrusted to the Lead monitoring and evaluation expert. The aim was to provide an update on the recent developments and progress made as regards the EUSAIR monitoring & evaluation exercise and address the actions to be taken in order to make the monitoring & evaluation tool for the EUSAIR set up in time. The Lead partner was supported by the monitoring and evaluation experts of Pillar 1 (Blue Growth) and Pillar 3 (Environmental Quality).
All participants were informed about the main stages regarding the monitoring & evaluation deliverables and special attention was given to time limitation.
The main deliverables of the EUSAIR Monitoring & Evaluation are:
-creation of a Knowledge Base per Pillar,
-respective Pillar related studies,
-exchange of information among the experts.
To achieve best results and in the light of the EUSAIR Strategy preparation for the post 2020 period, participants agreed on next steps which will be fully supported by Pillar Coordinators and Facility Point Project Partners.
