7. Adriatic Maritime Law Conference (AMLC VII)

From 9 to 10 April 2026, Izola will host the 7th Adriatic Maritime Law Conference (AMLC VII), one of the leading professional events in the field of maritime law in the Adriatic-Ionian region.

The conference will take place in the historic Manzioli Palace, a legacy of the Venetian Republic that ruled these lands for nearly 700 years. The two-day programme will bring together legal experts, representatives of international organisations, academics and policymakers from across Europe and beyond.

Discussions will address key challenges of the modern maritime sector, including international maritime law developments, digitalisation of shipping, sustainable port management, marine environmental protection and the decarbonisation of maritime transport.
