| The SP4EUSAIR project team will host two thematic online workshops focused on the Project Proposal Development Process, a practical step-by-step approach to preparing competitive project proposals. Building on the Handbook for Development of Project Proposals (D2.1.1) and its Annex on the development process, the sessions will help participants better understand the full workflow—from early preparation and partnership set-up to drafting, budgeting, quality assurance and final submission—while also clarifying the roles and responsibilities of key actors involved. |
Dates and time (two identical sessions):
- 25 March 2026 | 09:30–11:00 CET
- 26 March 2026 | 09:30–11:00 CET
The workshops will present a structured, practical overview of the project proposal development process, with special attention to coordination and timely delivery. The content is based on the official SP4EUSAIR guidance materials and outlines the key phases of proposal preparation, including:
- Preparatory phase – laying the foundations
- Partnership set-up
- Writing the proposal
- Budgeting and documentation
- Quality assurance and compliance
- Final submission
Expected outcomes
By the end of the session, participants will:
- gain a clear, step-by-step overview of the project proposal development process,
- better understand roles and responsibilities of the involved actors and how they interact in practice,
- strengthen their understanding of the main workflow and checkpoints needed for an efficient, timely and successful proposal development and submission process.
Who is this for?
The workshop is open to all professionals and organisations interested in project proposal preparation, including public institutions, agencies, universities, NGOs, clusters and private-sector actors—regardless of role or institutional affiliation.
The sessions will be designed to be as interactive as possible, combining a guided walkthrough of the process with discussion and Q&A.
