In the short video reportage has been reported the upgraded Slovenia’s and EUSAIR’s viewpoints in the quest for synergies between integrated coastal zone management and maritime spatial planning, ecological connectivity and green infrastructure as well within communication on macro-regional strategies.
At the workshop two members of the European parliament Mr. Franc Bogovič, Member of Committee on Regional Development, EUROPEAN Parliament and Mr. Ivan JAKOVČIĆ, EUROPEAN Parliament member, European Parliament’s Rapporteur on the EU strategy for the Adriatic and Ionian region, Croatia, contributed to the wider presentation of concrete results of the work on Environmental Quality group from all countries involved, especially Greece, Italy, Croatia and Slovenia within the EUSAIR.
The second day of the workshop was held at the location of this year’s central event. Drawing the Future of the Coastal Road is a community-wide effort to design the future of the coastal road and an example of good practice in connecting and cooperation between organizations, local communities, NGOs and individuals.
In the afternoon of the second day, with the contribution from the co-coordinator of Blue growth group – Sophia Loukmidou from Greece and co-coordinator of Environmental Quality group – Mitja Bricelj from Slovenia, the presentation of joint project for MSP and ICZM took place. With the video intervention from the Sustainable tourism co-coordinator Blanka Beloševič from Croatia, the inter-pillar project was defined and in the following days after the workshop sent as the first inter-pillar project to the Facility Point Lead Partner (SVRK) for further development within the Facility Point Plus project in order to transform the mentioned project concept in bankable project.
