The workshop on “The Present and the Future of Sustainable and Responsible Tourism” is going to be held on 24 and 25 April 2017 in Zagreb (hotel “Palace”).
The event has a triple role:

-it is a part of the celebrations of 2017 as the International Year of Sustainable Tourism for Development,

-it is an awareness raising activity within the Sustainable Tourism Programme (STP) in the framework of 10YFP,

-it is a contribution to wideningexpertise and good practices sharing in the Pillar 4, Sustainable Tourism, of the EU Strategy for the Adriatic-Ionian Region (EUSAIR).

At the same time, the event should serve as a tool contributing to the implementation of the 10YFP STP and EUSAIR Pillar 4 objectives focusing on SMEs as important stakeholders/implementers.

We believe the workshop represents a great occasion to celebrate the 2017 as the International Year of Sustainable Tourism for Development together.
