Blue growth - discovering the potentials for blue growth and expressing the development priorities in Slovenia

European Commission defines "Blue Growth" as a "long-term" strategy that emphasizes the importance of the seas and oceans for the development of the European economy as well as highlights the potential for innovation and sustainable growth.

The event "Blue growth - discovering the potentials for blue growth and expressing the development priorities in Slovenia" will be held on 18 April 2019 in Piran, Slovenia in the premises of the National Institute of Biology, Marine biological station Piran. By presenting concrete projects and concepts dealing with blue growth in Slovenia, the first event that took place on 21-22 March 2017 in Piran will be upgraded. The events goal is to activate Slovenia's blue growth potentials with European programs and resources, e.g. with Interreg programs, Horizon 2020, etc. A proposal of ten strategic development priorities in the Slovenian coastal and marine space will put together afterwards.
