The project“Capacity Development and Networking for the Youth Councils of EU Macro-Regional Strategies” aims to strengthen the capacity and effectiveness of youth structures across all four EU macro-regional strategies. Over a 24-month period, it will provide training opportunities, networking activities, support for engagement in EU policy processes, and initiatives to enhance the visibility of young people and their contributions.
The project’s key objectives are to:
- Improve knowledge of the European Union, Cohesion Policy, and macro-regional cooperation.
- Strengthen young people’s advocacy, project management, and communication skills.
- Foster cooperation and exchange among youth structures from the four macro-regions.
- Increase the involvement and influence of young people in decision-making and governance processes within the macro-regional strategies.
The project includes:
- Financial support to facilitate participation in relevant events and networking activities.
- Five capacity-building events, delivered both in person and online.
- At least 200 networking and visibility opportunities through external events and activities.
- Regular newsletters providing information on upcoming opportunities and project developments.
You can find more information about the project HERE.
A common project form will remain open throughout the project for members of the four Youth Councils and related youth structures. The form can be used to register interest in capacity-building and networking opportunities, request support for relevant external events, and suggest opportunities for inclusion in future newsletters.
