The Adriatic Ionian Euroregion is organising the next AI-NURECC Plus events in Skopje, North Macedonia 
On 23 January the High-Level Conference "Sustainable Tourism is going to take place as a strategic driver for the responsible and inclusive growth of the Adriatic Ionian Region and its mountain areas" will explore the role of sustainable tourism in contributing to the post-pandemic industrial and societal recovery of the Adriatic Ionian region, also with reference to challenges and opportunities for mountain areas.
On 24 January the IV Adriatic Ionian Youth Organisations Forum (AIYOF4) will focus on the role of youth in advancing towards a greener, more sustainable and inclusive Adriatic Ionian Region as well as youth engagement in the EUSAIR. Following the work and commitments undertaken during the previous editions of the Adriatic Ionian Youth Organisations Forum, the AIYOF4 will see the special contribution of the Adriatic Ionian Youth Network (AIYN).
Also, back-to-back with the AIYOF4, a side-event on the involvement of Western Balkan youth in European Territorial Cooperation will be organised by the Cooperation and Development Institute.
The Skopje events will bring together Adriatic Ionian stakeholders from across the region including EU institutions' representatives, politicians, decision-makers from all levels, experts, private actors as well as civil society organisations.
