29th Beyond Borders: Breakfast Debate – Cross-border cooperation in the world

This 29th edition of the Beyond Borders: Breakfast Debate takes a global look at cross-border cooperation beyond the European context, exploring how borders are experienced, governed, and crossed in other parts of the world, and what Europe can discover from it.

The session will offer a comparative perspective on CBC in the US–Canada and Mexico–US corridors, in Central Asia, across East African and South American border regions, examining the different geopolitical, institutional, and cultural frameworks that shape how people and communities experience borders.
