In this respect funding mechanisms in the fields of culture, creativity and cultural tourism in the Adriatic-Ionian macro-region have been one of the topics that raised much interest among the public – almost 200 stakeholders attended the event.
The area of sustainable tourism in the EUSAIR is coordinated by the EUSAIR Pillar 4 (Croatia and Albania) and supported by the EUSAIR Facility Point project. With an aim to improve visibility and further promote the importance of the work conducted within the EUSAIR STrategy so far, our representatives enlighten the specific characteristics of the Adriatic-Ionian macro-region, actions and goals in the field of cultural and creative tourism, cultural routes, harmonization of the cultural tourism market in the macro-region and targeted visitor niches, emphasising strongly on the contribution of the EUSAIR’s activities towards the future EU priorities.
We are happy that INTERREG funded projects and programs are more and more taking on the opportunity to exchange experience with the macro-regional strategies.
