The 11th Governing Board meeting of the EUSAIR Strategy was held in Brussels on 18-19 February 2020 under the Serbian Chairmanship of the EUSAIR/AII 2019-2020.
The main item of the 11th Governing Board meeting was tackling the embedding process and the need for identification of concrete flagships, which shall be with coordinated actions of all EUSAIR countries incorporated within the new programming period. However the meeting adressed also many other important topics related to the EUSAIR’s future, such as ensuring better alignment of the Strategy and EU funded Programmes and synergies between Programmes with focus on the resources and the new momentum in the process of enlargement and further integration of Western Balkans.
Prior to the 11th Governing Board meeting, Technical meetings of National and Pillar Coordinators were in full swing preparing for discussions on its agenda items to be more efficient! First was dealing with embedding process with full support of EU Commission, representatives od DG REGIO as well as DG NEAR were present. And the second one focusing on TSGs work so far and presentations of their future goals and activities.
